  • In cooperation with the U.S. National Institute of Health, Bavarian Nordic has begun a Phase l trial comparing IMVAMUNE™ with DryVax® in healthy volunteers in the USA. The trial will also investigate whether the immune response against IMVAMUNE™ protects against a subsequent challenge with DryVax®. This trial is expected to be completed in 2005.
  • Another Phase l trial to start in the third-quarter of 2004 will investigate IMVAMUNE™ in people with HIV in the USA. First results are expected in 2005.
