Founder and Chairman of the Board of Bavarian Nordic A/S since establishment in 1994.

From 1981-1988, Mr. Aamund was CEO of Ferrosan, a Danish pharmaindustrial group. From 1988-1992, he was Chairman of DanoChemo A/S, an international manufacturer of vitamins. Mr. Aamund is President and CEO of A. J. Aamund A/S, an industrial holding company focusing on the field of biotechnology. He is Chairman of BankInvest Biomedical Venture Advisory Board.

He is member of the boards of A. J. Aamund A/S, Modern Times Group MTG AB, Stockholm, and the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF).

Served as a member of the Board of Directors of Bavarian Nordic A/S since 2000.

In 2002, Mr. Johansen retired as President and CEO of BASF Health and Nutrition A/S after serving 10 years in this position. From 1987 to 1992, he was President of Dano-Chemo A/S. Mr. Johansen worked in various management positions for Ferrosan, DITZ Schweitzer A/S and Oticon A/S.

Mr. Johansen is a member of the board of Medicon A/S.

Elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Bavarian Nordic A/S in 2006.

Mr. Pedersen is President & CEO of Neurosearch A/S. Before joining Neurosearch as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2000, Mr. Pedersen worked as CFO and Vice President of Maersk Medical A/S (now UnoMedical A/S).

He is Chairman of the Board(s) of Atonomics A/S, Sophion Bioscience A/S, ZGene A/S, and Poseidon Pharmaceuticals A/S.

Mr. Bræstrup is former President and CEO of H. Lundbeck A/S.

Previously he held a number of prominent top positions within Danish and International pharmaceutical Industries (Novo Nordisk, Schering).

Mr. Bræstrup has a degree of Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Copenhagen, where he also for a period was Professor in Neuroscience. He is writer and co-author of 125 scientific publications.

He is Chairman of the Board of LifeCycle Pharma and member of the boards of the University of Copenhagen, Santaris Pharma and member of the Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation.

Mr. Odijk, a Dutch citizen, is President and CEO of Teva Pharmaceutical Europe B.V.

Mr. Odijk's international executive career has led to a variety of senior positions in GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). The last position held was Area Director of Northern Europe.
