Our Partnering/Licensing Strategy
In order to maximize the value of our clinical projects, we will
consider mutually beneficial partnering options with major
companies that have established global or regional specialist sales
and marketing capabilities as well as the relevant research and
development capabilities.
In-Licensing
Bavarian Noridic is focusing on anti-cancer, infectious
disease products and technologies. We are seeking technologies that
are complement to our MVA-BN® core technologies. Among others,
Bavarian Noridic is interested in Dendritic, T- and NK-cell
activating genes and tumor-associated antigens or other relevant
antigens.
Strategic Collaborations
Bavarian Nordic is open to collaborations with
pharmaceutical and biotech companies as well as academic teams
developing complementary technologies in the fields of:
- anti-cancer approaches, specific to vaccines.
Vector Platform and GMP Facilities
Bavarian Nordic is maximizing its vector platform
(MVA-BN® and other poxvirus-vectors) by entering into
non-exclusive agreements for using such vectors to deliver
proprietary therapeutic genes of third parties.
Bavarian Nordic also provides technological expertise
(construction of recombinant poxvirus) and GMP viral production
facilities to produce preclinical and clinical lots of MVA based
products and has the only FDA commercial MVA vaccine manufacturing
plant in the world.
