"I work in the Washington, DC office, where I am responsible for
developing and executing Bavarian Nordic's strategy of engagement
with the U.S. government, particularly in the area of
biodefense. I joined Bavarian Nordic after working for 8
years in the U.S. government, including at the U.S. Department of
Health and Human Services and the U.S. Senate. It is
important for Bavarian Nordic to have strong relationships with key
U.S. policy makers and to build on the successes achieved to date
in the U.S. market. I believe the company's promising
biodefense collaboration with the U.S. government will lead the way
to an even stronger relationship and new business
opportunities. It is exciting for me to be part of an
innovative and growing biotechnology company, and to be able to use
my government experience in an entirely new way."
