Bavarian Nordic is one of the few companies in the world able to supply the growing demand for smallpox vaccines. Our expanding global manufacturing capacity allows us to confidently plan and fulfil contracts for our MVA-BN®-based vaccines now and in the future.
We have significantly strengthened our manufacturing capabilities and are now able to produce 40 million doses of IMVAMUNE® per year at our Kvistgård site alone, which can be expanded if necessary.
Our Berlin facility has fully implemented the MVA-BN® production technology and has been granted manufacturing authorisation. This allows us to produce within our own manufacturing network significant quantities of clinical materials for our global development programmes.
These achievements have added flexibility to our global production network and ensured the supply of current and future vaccines.
