Cancer
The cancer pipeline is focused on
therapeutic cancer vaccines. The lead program is PROSTVAC®, an
immunotherapy product candidate for advanced prostate cancer that
is the subject of an ongoing pivotal Phase 3 trial and is being
developed in collaboration with the National Cancer
Institute.
Infectious diseases
The infectious disease pipeline is
focused on preventive vaccines for biodefense under fully funded
government programs and commercial targets. The lead biodefense
program is IMVAMUNE®, a non-replicating smallpox vaccine
candidate in Phase 3 trials, which is being developed and supplied
for emergency use to the U.S. Strategic National Stockpile
under a contract with the U.S. Government.
